The Department of Chemical engineering is one of the pioneering departments of the RMS Campus which was established in 2015 with an Authorized intake of 60 students.
Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that applies physical, chemical, and biological sciences to produce useful materials and products. It involves the design, operation, and optimization of chemical processes. Chemical engineers use their knowledge of chemistry and engineering principles to develop and improve processes for transforming raw materials into finished products.
They work in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, oil and gas, and environmental engineering. Some of the key areas of focus for chemical engineers include process design and optimization, process safety, materials science, and environmental sustainability.
Overall, chemical engineering plays a vital role in the development of new technologies and products that improve our daily lives.
Vision
The Chemical engineering department seeks to prepare chemical engineers to pursue their goals a successful career of Entrepreneurs and Eminent Researchers which benefits the public welfare through its service that is rigorous and challenging
